It just struck me that you may be taking to the skies this holiday season, or often fly the rest of the year with your baby. There’s no problem with children over two years of age since they must have their own seats, regardless of their size.

Although the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) does not require it, they still recommend that children under forty pounds ride in a FAA-approved child safety restraint system. But the baby is not likely to feel comfortable in the harness usually provided by carriers. Since you cannot carry a child seat with you, one alternative to doing that is the Baby B’Air Flight Vest. It may be used in flight. With the use of three plastic buckles, it secures the baby’s sides and crotch. You can then pass your lap belt through a nylon loop on the vest so that the baby is securely attached to you. This just might be much safer than holding the child in your arms. The added bonus is that your hands are free during the flight. You can thus tend to other things while baby remains secure. You are also saved from the trouble of keeping the child seated in your lap.

This an FAA-tested garment for infant safety but it is not yet FAA-approved for use during takeoff, landing and taxiing in US airports, so you’ll have to use airline-issued lap belts. But during flight, by all means use this simple vest which offers much more comfort to the baby and more convenience to you. The Baby B’Air Flight Vest satisfies all FAA regulations for in-flight use. Click the picture and find out how the vest can provide for your child’s safety.

You no longer have to worry if you fall asleep during the flight for as long as you keep the baby vest/harness secured to your lap belt. What a wonderful way to travel with the baby. Life has no reset button, think safety.
