The elastase-dependent WSN-E was passaged in presence of trypsin
in 10 parallel flasks (165 cm2) with MDCK cells.
(1 x 1d passage using the entire supernatant
followed by 3 x 2d passages using one half of the supernatant)
The reversion frequency of WSN-E is about 10 –7.
